Plot Overview

Iris meets Alex's brother, Grant, who offers his help. Vicky tells Elliot that the DA has reduced the charges and Dennis will be released shortly. Out of the hospital, Rikki stops by Maggie's with Elena and Courtney and they all talk about Nita and the baby. Joe tells Nita that Billy Joe has his money and he wants it but she denies knowing anything about it. Jeb arrives at Maggie's and Courtney asks Elena how she and Jeb are getting along. After tearing the apartment apart, the phone rings and Nita tells Joe it is probably Elena. Grant tells Iris that he has been out of the country for the last year and he and Alex haven't spoken in 15 years. Striker tells Dennis he has been freed on bail but Dennis isn't too eager to face Paige and the outside world and Striker tells him that Paige helped to get him out along with her friend Peter Parnell. Elliot tells Vicky that Iris wants Dennis to know about Alex and Vicky advises Elliot to be the one to tell him. Striker tells Dennis that Joe Foster may have killed Chris and then Elliot arrives to take Dennis home. Courtney tells Maggie and Jeb that she is taking a residency in Dallas that starts July 1st. As Joe holds on gun on Nita she talks on the phone to Elena and then when she gets off the phone she goes into labor. Grant tells Iris that his wife Judith came between Alex and him and also interfered too much in their daughter Lacy's life and that they separated a little over a year ago. Then Grant tells Iris that he thinks the hospital is the best place to help Alex get better. Striker tells Vicky about the theory that Joe Foster killed Chris. Elliot tells Dennis not to throw away his marriage to Paige. Elena and Rikki talk about him finding someone to love. Jeb and Courtney talk about her leaving. Joe allows Nita to call Elena and ask her to bring over some food. Grant makes arrangements for Alex to go back to the hospital and then Iris suggests Grant stay at the house. Vicky tells Striker that Alex is Dennis' father. Elliot tells Dennis that Alex is his father. Elena arrives and finds Joe with Nita.
