Plot Overview

Jeb and Billy Joe look at the day old baby. Joe tells Elena once he makes his plans she can go. Iris visits Dennis. Dennis tells Iris and Paige and he are going to try again but Iris tells him that Paige is a tramp and only went after him for his money when she thought Alex was dead. Nita tells Courtney that she never wants to see Billy Joe again. Billy Joe and Jeb talk about Nita and Elena and then Rikki arrives telling Billy Joe that he is going to pay for this. Iris tells Dennis why she kept his paternity a secret and asks him to come to the hospital to acknowledge Alex. Joe tells Elena he doesn't want to kill her but won't let her go until he gets away. Billy Joe admits to Rikki and Jeb that he took the money from a locker but didn't keep it for himself. Pete learns from Dr. Douglass that Alex's condition is improving. Elliot visits Dennis. Alex speaks to Iris and she tells Evan and Pete overhears. Elliot tells Dennis that Paige loves him and that he should see Alex and make peace with him. Jeb tries to calm Rikki and then Courtney talks to Jeb. Pete calls Joe and asks him to get rid of Alex in exchange for passage out of Houston. Paige and Elliot talk about Dennis. Courtney shows Nita the baby and then leaves when Billy Joe arrives. Nita tells Billy Joe everything isn't going to be all right. Dennis arrives at the hospital and tells Iris he is here to see Alex. Paige wonders if Dennis and she can put their marriage back together. Nita tells Billy Joe that she is leaving him. Iris leaves Dennis and Alex to talk and Dennis tells Alex that he knows he is his father and he can be his son.
