Plot Overview
Ruby suggests to Rikki that they get an apartment together. Lacy tells Grant that she is interested in working at KVIK. Jim arrives at Peter's and tells him Ryan has asked to see him and he better come up with a way to get them out of the mess they are in. Rikki tells Ruby he will think about it. Grant and Vivien wish Lacy luck in her job efforts at KVIK. Peter tries to convince Jim that everything is OK. Ben tells Phil he better be nice to Rikki and Billy Joe or else they will lose Texas Tractor as their sponsor. Lacy asks Vicky if there are any openings on the Phil Roberts show. Grant and Ryan plan the meeting with Jim Lawrence. Vicky introduces Lacy to Ben Addams and then when he leaves Lacy tells Rikki that she may be working on the show and suggests they go for dinner. Ryan asks Jim about Pete Parnell. Ruby learns from Rikki that Lacy is hoping to get a job with The Phil Roberts Show. Grant meets Vicky's assistant Meredith and then learns that Lacy is hoping to work for the Phil Roberts show. Jim tells Ryan that he will talk to Peter and find out if he was misappropriating funds or with Alex when he had his stroke. Phil learns that Lacy is Iris' niece and hires her. Striker tells Vicky he is calling T.J. Canfield back from Casablanca to handle his proxy since he has to go to Venezuela. Jim tells Peter that Ryan is out to prove he is responsible and Jim also tells Peter he himself is innocent. Striker calls T.J. and T.J. tells his bed partner that he has to go back to Houston. Lacy tells Ruby and Rikki she got the job and then Grant shows up and meets Ruby and learns Rikki sings on the Phil Roberts show regularly. Ruby questions Lacy about Grant not seeming to like Rikki. Ryan tells Grant he thinks Jim knew about the whole thing. Jim tells Peter to find Joe Foster and shut him up for good.
