Plot Overview

Billy Joe tells Bobbie Sue that he is going to court for the divorce hearing. Dennis comes to Justin to make sure Ryan can't prove he is innocent. Elena tells Joe he has to go to the police with what he knows about Alex's murder. Billy Joe tells Booby Sue he doesn't have a lawyer because he intends to tell the judge that the divorce is wrong because he and Nita still love each other. Dennis tells Justin ousting Ryan is important to him now for personal reasons. Joe agrees to a meeting with Ryan to tell him about Peter killing Alex. Justin tells Bubba that Ryan might be able to prove he didn't misuse company funds. Ryan tells Ginny and Grant that Dennis wants to meet with him again and they suggest he give Dennis false info in case he is spying for Justin and Iris. Ruby overhears Roy and Booby Sue talking about Elena staying in another apartment. Ashley tells Bubba to stay away from Lurlene. Ryan gives tells Dennis info about finding Mr. Johnson and then Dennis leaves. Ruby learns Elena is staying in the apartment over the beauty parlor and decides to pay Elena a visit. Billy Joe tries to convince Nita not to go through with the divorce. Justin asks Ryan where Johnson is and then realizes Ryan was bluffing. Ruby tells Joe and Elena that she thinks Jim and Peter know Elena is hiding Joe. Billy Joe tells the judge that he and Nita still love each other and that's why the divorce shouldn't happen. Vicky meets T.J. Canfield at the Top of the World Club. Ruby tells Elena and Joe as long as Elena keeps singing at the Coop she won't turn Joe in and then she finds the check from Maggie. Vicky introduces Ryan and Ginny to T.J. Ashley learns of the scheme Dennis and Justin pulled on Ryan. Billy Joe tells Bobbie Sue, Roy and Ruby that the judge granted the divorce. Joe tells Elena they are spending the night in a motel. Ruby calls Peter and asks to see him.
