Plot Overview

Joel tells Lurlene that he isn't leaving until she understands that he loves her. Someone is up on the catwalk in the studio as Judith, Grant, Reena and Justin await the show. Ashley tells T.J. she is pregnant with Justin's baby. T.J. asks Ashley how long she has known and she says for a while but she tried to deny it. Then she tells T.J. she doesn't know what she is going to do about all of it but that she does love him. T.J. tells Ashley he needs to think. Lurlene tells Joel that she isn't a pretty, popular girl but Joel says he knows what he wants and it is her. Mark tells Allison that Stella may cause trouble for his mom and that Brette is on the Billy Joe Show today and there have been some accidents at the studio. Stella gets ready with Brette and Rikki while Ruby gets ready with Vicky, Hunt and Reena. Vicky wonders where Christine is and then Stella demands to have the chair with her lavender gel and asks Brette to switch seats with her. Stella sits in Brette's chair as Ruby starts the show. Then Christine asks Vicky why Stella changed chairs with Brette and says she wants them to switch back but Vicky says no. Meanwhile, Judith, Grant, Reena and Justin watch as the show returns from commercial. As Stella interviews Rikki and Brette the rope burns. Then as Stella begins talking about Henderson and Bay City, the lighting fixture falls and Stella is knocked unconscious. Paramedics are called to help Stella and everyone wonders how this happened. Then George picks up Stella's index cards. Mark gets a call that there was an accident at KVIK and tells Allison that Stella was hurt. Justin and Reena help Ruby who is shaken. Then Brette realizes it was her chair where Stella got hit. Brette insists that someone is trying to kill her. Joel tells Lurlene he won't get tired of her because she makes him feel better than any of the other girls he has dated and finally Joel gets through to her. Mark comforts a shaken Ruby. Then Detective Meadows talks to Vicky and Hunt about doing an investigation. Detective Meadows talks to Ruby and Mark about what happened and then Mark offers to stay with Ruby. Vicky tells Hunt she doesn't understand how this happened. Then Reena offers to tell T.J. what happened since he is their lawyer. Grant tells Brette that he agrees with her that someone is trying to get her. Then Grant and Judith leave and Rikki stays with Brette when Mark and Ruby arrive and they also realize that someone is after Brette. Everyone tries to figure out why someone is out to hurt Brette. Then they all decide to go to the Coop. Grant sees Reena and Vicky and tells them that someone is out to get Brette and Vicky is made aware of the other accidents that have happened at the studio. Then Vicky learns that Stella is in a coma. Joel tells Lurlene he loves her and now he knows she loves him too. Judith tells George that Stella is in a coma and she saw him picking up Stella's notes. Then George shows them to her and Judith asks George if he arranged Stella's accident.
