The $100,000 Pyramid is the sixth edition of the game show that started as the The $10,000 Pyramid in 1973.

The game play is identical to the CBS daytime edition, The $25,000 Pyramid, except the objective is to run the Pyramid in the quickest time. The three quickest times return after seven weeks of regular play to compete for $100,000.

The bonus cards in the game are not used during the championship play (the 21-21 bonus still applies). Whoever has the lowest money score in the regular game sits on the sideline on the next show and the other contestant waiting in the wings plays. The first player to successfully run the Pyramid wins $100,000 plus all cash won previously.

This edition returned in 1991 with a couple of tweaks in game play. ABC revived the show in 2016 to air during the summer.
