Dr. Sheldon Lee Cooper is one of the main characters in the sitcom The Big Bang Theory and is the title character on its prequel spinoff Young Sheldon. He is played as an adult on TBBT by Jim Parsons (who also narrates Young Sheldon in-character as the adult Sheldon) and as a boy on Young Sheldon by Iain Armitage.
