Plot Overview

Neil travels to the small town of Brockton to defend a pair of illicit lovers accused of killing the woman's husband. A key piece of evidence, a small dynamite bundle, is found in the male defendant's garage, but he swears he never saw it before. During a break in the trial, Neil meets a man who claims that he is the real killer, that he used dynamite he stole from his former job for the fatal blast but that he never saw the male defendant before, nor had he been in his garage. Now certain that the lead detective on the case planted evidence, the young lawyer sets out to prove that charge, only to be framed for a drug possession rap that carries a potential ten-year sentence.
