Plot Overview
Armed with suspicions about General Sternwood, Neil travels to Houston to visit his ex-wife, ignoring threats from the military leader. All he gets in Houston is evasiveness from Mrs. Sternwood, threats from military men who hold the General in high regard and an attempt on his life. Neil returns to Los Angeles, certain that the answers to all his questions were there all along, and that the key is finding the General's missing sports car.
