Plot Overview
Hired to defend a decorated Vietnam war hero accused of killing his best friend, Nichols has two major obstacles to deal with in clearing his client. One, the fact that he has went from clean-cut young man to hippie, is easily solved by getting him a shave and a haircut. The other is not so easy: the young man is reluctant to tell Walt the truth about the incident, despite a mountain of evidence in favor of his guilt.
