Plot Overview

A seriously wounded Tony winds up confined to a hospital bed, where the doctor tells him that some fragments of the bullet are lodged near his spine and he may not walk again. He's paired with a determined physical therapist who puts him through the paces, while Cyd becomes the acting Commissioner and receives a job offer to be the Commissioner of the Oakport Police Department. A cop whom Tony mentored is out to nail a pusher, and Cyd pulls him off the case, but he pursues the matter on his own time and gets killed. Tony orders all police resources to be focused on the case and to find the pusher, who jumped into the river from a ship during a chase. Tony also wonders why the dead cop, who had financial issues, had a hidden suitcase containing $18,000.
