Plot Overview
John Hibbs' wife, Peggy, is in need of an operation to save her eyesight. Tony tries to get insurance to cover the operation, but is unsuccessful. A major criminal that John's been trying to bust offers him enough money to take out the star witness against him, and he agrees to go undercover to nail the guy, despite a Fed's warning that John might be tempted by the easy money. As coach of the precinct's basketball team, Tony tries to get his guys together. A tall guy that makes shots is on the court, and Ronnie persuades Tony to hire him as a clerical worker so he can be on the team, but Tony winds up firing him, and the opposing team from Groverton snatches him up.
