Behind the Scenes
His name is Hank Simms...you may not have seen his face, but his voice is familiar to anyone who grew up watching TV in the 1960's and 1970's. He was the announcer for almost all the Quinn Martin-produced television series (Dick Wesson did the announcing for The New Breed, The Fugitive, 12 O'Clock High and The Invaders, and there was no announcer for Quinn Martin's Tales of the Unexpected or A Man Called Sloane), and his reign as the 'voice of QM' began with this episode of The FBI and ended in the Spring of 1980 with the final Barnaby Jones episode.
