Character History
Cindy Webster was the athletic tomboy at Eastland when the series began in 1979. Because she was a tomboy, Blair rudely questioned her femininity when she was elected to run for Harvest Queen. After a makeover by Mrs. Garrett, she was voted Corn Maiden of the Harvest Festival, and Blair won Harvest Queen naturally. Cindy proved that she could be beautiful and athletic as well. Her status as the best athlete was challenged when Sue Ann Weaver beat her in a track meet, but they made up by the end of the ordeal. Cindy was featured in later episodes of the show even though she was not a major cast member. Cindy returned in 1986 with Nancy and Sue Ann to visit Blair, Tootie and Natalie. By that episode, Cindy became a fashion model.
