- This episode was originally written to have Blair be the first of the girls to lose her virginity, but Lisa Whelchel refused to appear in this episode because it conflicted with her religious beliefs. As a result, Blair's part in the episode was rewritten for Natalie while Blair was absent altogether, explained as being on a shopping trip in Beverly Hills with her mother
