The Great Martian War 1913–1917 is a 2013 Canadian/UK documentary-style science fiction telefilm. Based very loosely on The War of the Worlds by H.G. Wells, it recounts a four-year long war against a Martian invasion.

Plot Overview

- While not officially an adaptation of The War of the Worlds, the film has several commonalities. Aside from the obvious Martians, their fighting-machines are tripods with various other machines aiding them. And like in the novel, the Martians' defeat comes on a biological level.
