The Jeff Dunham Show is a sketch comedy program that aired on Comedy Central. The series was hosted by comedian/ventriloquist Jeff Dunham and was largely adapted from his stand-up comedy act. He explained that in his act he tells stories about incidents involving the puppet characters and himself, but with the show he can show those situations as they "happened."

The series was a product of Comedy Central's deal with Dunham which included the stand-up special Jeff Dunham’s Very Special Christmas Special, which was the most watched broadcast in the channel's history with 6.6 million viewers. The premiere of The Jeff Dunham Show also found high ratings with 5.3 million viewers, although interest quickly dropped off to less than 2 million for subsequent episodes. Dunham found less favor from critics, who accused his show of racism, homophobia and "intellectual bankruptcy" (the last comment from a widely circulating blog post on Videogum declaring that "The Jeff Dunham Show Is The Worst Thing In The Entire World").

In late 2009, Comedy Central announced that the series would not be renewed for a second season. Production costs and critical response have been named factors by reports on the decision, comparing The Jeff Dunham Show's cancellation to the renewal of the lower rated but cheaply produced Tosh.0.
