The Show
Act I: "Mr. Solo Is Coming Into Range"
Act II: "She Even Makes Thrush Blush"
Act III: "I Bring Lucretia Borgia"
Act IV: "Water, Water, Everywhere..."
THRUSH leader Thaler is played by Will Kuluva, who played UNCLE Chief Mr. Allison in the pilot episode, "The Vulcan Affair". He was replaced by Leo G. Carroll as Mr. Waverly after NBC execs said they didn't like that guy "Ku..., Ku..., Ku...", to which Norman Felton responded "Kuluva?" "Yes, that's him! We don't like him! Get rid of him!", responded the NBC brass. It wasn't until the second episode aired that NBC asked Felton why the blonde guy was still there...they wanted him to get rid of the character Illya Kuryakin, not the actor Will Kuluva!
