Plot Overview
Pete inadvertently walks in on a jewelry store robbery, but is able to stop the getaway vehicle with one of the robbers left behind inside the truck. Noting that she has a scarred face from being trapped in a fire, he arranges for her to get plastic surgery to turn her life around. The girl finds herself falling for Pete, who tries to let her down gently, while her partner in crime tries to track her down to involve her in a much bigger caper.
