Basic Information
Jim Halpert is a sales representative for the Dunder-Mifflin paper company in the Scranton, PA branch. Jim is a talented sales rep, but he is satisfied enough with his co-workers and work environment that he will not try to find something better. Jim is single, and lives in a town home with a roommate. He eats a ham and cheese sandwich for lunch everyday, and even ordered one at Hooters.
Jim enjoys pranking Dwight Schrute, and has placed his stapler in Jell-o and taken all of the objects on his desk and placed them in a vending machine. Jim also has arranged games for the office, such as the Office Olympics, and games such as "Who Would You Do" while waiting in the parking lot during the Fire episode.
Friendship with Pam
Jim has a crush on the company receptionist, Pam, and he would not let her know until his boss Michael Scott let the secret slip. Jim and Pam share a close friendship, and they often share inside jokes. Jim filled a teapot full of inside joke references for Pam to give to her as secret Santa in the Christmas Party episode. Their friendship dynamic changes slightly after Pam learns of Jim's crush on her. Their friendship has further strained with the upcoming wedding of Pam and her fiancé Roy. The reluctance of Jim to let go of his crush on Pam has caused him to sabotage his own relationships. During the Booze Cruise, Jim ended his relationship with Katie, a purse saleswoman he met during the Hot Girl episode.
