Plot Overview
A friend and former client hires Jim again, this time to investigate the overdose death of a close friend. Rockford is led to a Senator who was involved with the dead girl (and the two were together when he fatally struck a pedestrian with his car) and a smooth operator who may have been the last one to see her alive.
