Plot Overview
Chris receives a surprise visit from his younger sister and is equally surprised to learn that she has dropped out of college to become a nun. When she's picked up by two men after her car breaks down and is brutally raped, Chris goes after her attackers and beats one of them up, in direct violation of an order given to him by Lt. Ryker's equally stern temporary replacement. Both Chris and Kim undergo crises of conscience as a result: Chris wonders why he has a badge when his hands are tied as to what he can do, while Kim, in keeping with her faith, wants to forgive her rapist, even at the cost of possibly being attacked once again.
