Plot Overview
A number of witnesses finger a guy with a long rap sheet as the killer of a veteran cop, but Terry, who was close enough to see the guy's face, isn't so certain. He sticks to his belief, angering a number of veteran officers, including the dead man's friend and former partner, while Mike and Chris try to stand by Terry as best as they can. A look through the mug books finds another heavy criminal, who looks exactly like the suspect, and they set up a stakeout to nail him.

Behind the Scenes
Fernando Lamas directed this episode. He and guest star Jonathan Goldsmith Lippe were good friends away from the camera, and Goldsmith claims that he took his persona for the World's Most Interesting Man (in a series of commercials for Dos Equis beer) from Lamas.
