Bart the Mother is the third episode of the tenth season of The Simpsons, and the two-hundred and sixth episode overall.

Plot Overview

Bart ignores Marges warning about playing with Nelson Muntz,and he on a dare shoots a Mother Bird with a BB Gun,killing the Bird.Bart feels bad that he shot this innocent Bird.Actually,he never intended to shoot this Bird.He was trying to miss it.Thanks to Nelson manuvering aiming,Bart's aim was on target.Marge would soon arrive after learning that Bart had snuck out of the House.Bart would soon feel worst when he learns that the Mother Bird was sitting in her nest preparing to hatch her young.Bart takes the Eggs,and will care for them.Marge at first was angry that Bart had disobeyed her,and was going to stop trying to disipline Bart.However,after learning that Bart is attempting to raise these yet to be born nestlings,Marge is thrilled beyond compare.Soon,the young nestlings will hatch out of the Egg,and Bart will raise,them.Or,so it would seem.There is a big surprize awaiting Bart,the other Simpson Family Members,and the whole Community of Springfield Bird Watchers.

Notes

This is one of the few episodes where Bart feels a sense of responsibility for some living creatures...besides other Humans.
