Pygmoelian is the sixteenth episode of the eleventh season of The Simpsons, and the two-hundred and forty-second episode overall.

Plot Overview

Homer sets off a false smoke alarm to take the Family to a Beer Festival.At the Festival Bart experiences what it is like to feel drunk,but not the way he was expecting.At the Festival,there is a Drunk tossing contest.Moe throws Barney.He wins thanks to Barneys sticking out his tongue over the finish line.Moe's prize is having his face photograped,and appear on the next Duff Calendar.Some weeks later,Moe receives the Calendar.He discovers that some stickers have been placed over his face.After the last sticker is removed,Moes face is revealed,a less than flattering photo.Moe believing himself to be ugly decides to get Plastic Surgery.He gets a new face,which is revealed to be quite handsome.So much so that some of the unmarried women of Springfield gather around him like a Harem.Moe having a new face,and a sense of confidence decides to get revenge on those that had rejected him because of his previous looks.One of the prople he seeks revenge on is a woman who had turned him down for a date years ago.When confronts her,and reveals himself to her,she apologizes for rejecting him.This suprises Moe.Later Moe goes to a Television Studio where a Show called"It Never Ends" a Soap Drama to which Moe had tried out for a part years ago,but was rejected because of his gargoylelike face.He,and Homer had planned to torch the set,but when the female Producer takes one look at his handsome face,she hires Moe,as the new Tad Winslow(she having just gotten into an argument with the current star who is too demanding).Moe as Soap Character Tad Winslow becomes very popular even more so with the single women of Springfield.He ignores his Bartending Business,and regular customers.Fame,and goodtimes seems certain fore Moe,until he takes a peek at the upcoming storyline,and is shocked to discover that his character is going to be killed off.Angry,Moe with help from Homer decide to ruin the Show.This is a bad move on both their parts as they soon discover that Moes Tad Winslows character was not going to be killed off.Not suprising,Moe is fired.Not feeling too bad,Moe feels that with his good looks,he can have any TV Job in Town.Alas it is not to be.As Moe is leaving,a Wall set falls on his face.It changes back to Moes old Gargylelike Face.Thus,Moe the TV Star becomes,Moe the Bartender again.
