Behind the Scenes
- The producers asked Steven Barnes what stories he wanted to adapt for television and he mentioned Robert Silverberg's "To See the Invisible Man" and Robert Sheckley's "Love, Incorporated". The latter was deemed inappropriate due to being sexist, even after Barnes suggested switching the genders of the characters. "To See the Invisible Man" got the okay.
