Plot Overview
Upon hearing the Phantom Limb's announcement, most of the wedding attendees flee the cocoon. The Monarch refuses to surrender, so Phantom Limb orders Iggy Pop and Klaus Nomi to attack. David Bowie jumps in to protect them, but Iggy kills him and Klaus hits Dr. Girlfriend with a sonic scream. Iggy and Klaus manage to take out both the Monarch and Brock Samson, so they grab Dr. Girlfriend and leave.
Dean is still trapped in the engine room. After putting a soda can ring on his finger, he sees a vision of Giant Boy Detective, who tells Dean they are going to save the kingdom and solve a really cool mystery.
The Order of the Triad takes the X-1 and heads to the cocoon, though they don't know where it is. Nien Nunb, who they conjured from a Star Wars trading card, is the pilot.
Brock and the Monarch prepare the cocoon to attack the Guild forces. Brock takes command of the Henchmen, who express their adoration of him. Brock sends the Henchmen to fight, and Hank sneaks out with them.
Dr. Girlfriend is brought to Phantom Limb, where she yells at him. Limb tells her that he is now the Sovereign. When she disputes this, he explains that the Sovereign was just killed — David Bowie was the real Sovereign, so Phantom Limb decided to use this opportunity to promote himself. Iggy tries to smoke using Bowie's cigarettes; Phantom Limb orders him outside. On the top of the plane, the cigarettes turn into Bowie and he defeats Iggy and goes inside. He kills Klaus Nomi and fights Phantom Limb.
Dean continues to imagine that he is on a great quest. He fights the evil Insect King and destroys the King's machine, which is actually the cocoon's engine. The cocoon starts to crash.
Brock, Hank, Henchman 21, and Henchman 24 are trying to break into Phantom Limb's ship, but they have no way to get inside. The X-1 finally arrives, bumps the ship, sending it out of control. The X-1 then crashes into the cocoon, and the Order of the Triad emerges from the plane in the cocoon's engine room, where Dean is still tripping.
The Monarch and Dr. Venture try to escape from the big cocoon using the Monarch's personal escape cocoon, but they collide with Phantom Limb's ship and everyone crashes. Everyone seems to survive the crash, though some pieces of Phantom Limb are found strewn about.
David Bowie congratulates the Monarch and Dr. Girlfriend, and assures them that Phantom Limb won't bother them again, as he is now being hunted by the Guild.
After having some post-nuptual sex, Dr. Girlfriend confesses something to the Monarch.
Notes

Happenings
- The Phantom Limb disrupts the wedding of the Monarch and Dr. Girlfriend as part of a supposed attempt to get her back. But it's also a power play to gain control of the Guild. He launches a full-out attack on the Monarch's cocoon once Dr. Girlfriend is on his ship.

- Klaus Nomi and Iggy Pop are revealed to be working for Phantom Limb. They are both killed while fighting David Bowie.
- Dean spends the entire episode trapped in the engine room, which is said to be haunted. Dean hallucinates a grand adventure the entire time, where we learn about his many insecurities — mostly involving his father.
- The Monarch's cocoon is severely damaged during the Guild attack. The X-1 is also heavily damaged when it collides with the cocoon.
