The Wacky World of Tex Avery was an animated comedy anthology airing in first-run syndication.
Purported to mimic the fourth-wall-breaking style and comedic pacing of legendary animator Fred "Tex" Avery, this series stars a goofy cowboy named Tex Avery (the name bought by DIC president Andy Heyward from Avery's daughter). Also featured in rotating segments are Freddie the Fly, Einstone (a prehistoric inventor), Genghis and Khannie, Pompeii Pete and superhero canine Power Pooch.
