Plot Overview

Daryl arrives in Alexandria with the others, causing Michonne to recall the last time they let anyone inside.

Happenings

• It's revealed that Michonne invited in a friend of hers before the apocalypse into Alexandria. She then took the community's children, including Judith, and hope to turn them into killers like those she already had with her. Michonne and Daryl were captured and branded with X's before they escaped where Michonne was forced to kill her friend and her children. This led her to steely resolve to protect only Alexandria.

• A couple of Whisperers find the Kingdom and agree to tell Alpha.

• In the months after Rick's disappearance, Michonne found his Colt Python and kept it in a box.

• Michonne never told Judith about the incident with her friend and the children, but discovers that Judith remembers.

• After Daryl and the others leave, it's Judith that persuades Michonne to pick them and take them to the Kingdom.

• Negan tells Michonne how he told Judith about Carol getting into the Sanctuary and shooting some of his men (Sing Me a Song) and how Rick sliced his throat (Wrath).
