Basic Information

Dean Winchester is the oldest, he's always taken orders without question, he often needs to stop arguements between Sam and his dad. Dean went to find Sam, so he would help him look for their missing dad. He is in love with his car, a 1967 Chevrolet Impala, which was given to him by his dad.

Character History

Carried his brother, Sam Winchester out of there burning house and has felt responsible for him ever since. This plays a major part throughout the entire series.

He also sold his sold his soul in order to bring back his brother Sam back from the dead and sent to hell after some time a angel breaks him out of hell but both him and his brother dont fully understand why.

Trivia

• Jensen Ackles was originally cast as Sam Winchester but had learned both character's lines for his screen test. After Jared Padalecki was instead chosen to play the younger Winchester brother, Jensen was asked to play Dean. Jensen actually preferred the character of Dean because he got to be a "smart-ass".

Jensen Ackles has also appeared in episodes of Dawson's Creek, Dark Angel and is also cast in the 2009 remake of My Bloody Valentine 3D.
