Basic Information
Baylock is a Deputy Director of the National Security Agency, picked by the President's National Security Advisor to oversee the Threshold situation and shepherd Molly Caffrey's Threshold investigation through the Washington bureaucracy. He was supposedly expecting to move into the National Security Advisor's job sometime in the relatively-near future. Threshold has sidetracked those expectations.
Baylock is the heavy on the show who makes all the final decisions and pushes the investigating team forward, but he is invested in the Threshold and interacts well with the team leaders.
