  • Deckard: Deckard (Rick, not Kent) is the name of the protagonist of the movie Blade Runner from which the series takes much of its inspiration.
  • Wozniak: The bespectacled "free-lance" programmer who Ehrenthal recommends to Hume in this episode goes by the name of Wozniak. Steve Wozniak is the co-founder of Apple Computer.
