Plot Overview
A kindly general store owner is shot and killed after apprehending a thief in his store. Doc Calhoun tells Hoby that a demented person was probably the thief, noting that all the items stolen were small, shiny objects, and this leads the Ranger to the killers, two brothers who shot the man when he tried to restrain their mother.
