Plot Overview
As the story begins, it is three weeks later after the characters experienced their setbacks. For Betty, it is over losing Henry to Charlie after she deceived him about being the father of her baby, as evidenced in a dream telenovela called "La Pasiones de Betty," where Betty, dressed as a maid, cries over seeing a picture of the two together. When Henry walks in the door, the two embrace and kiss, only to have it interrupted by Charlie in a nightgown and holding a gun. As Betty tried to protect Henry, Henry pushes Betty away and runs to Charlie. Justin then wakes up Betty and as she scrambled to go to work, the two wish that Ignacio would return home soon and starts worrying about Hilda being in her room for certain periods of time.
Throughout the day, thoughts of Henry and trying to get everything done, including visiting Ignacio's lawyer, would cause Betty to stress to the point of bumping into a glass cover of "MODE" and bruise her eye, which would later require her to wear a eyepatch.
At the hospital, Daniel, whose legs were injured in he car crash, finds himself trying to control his drug habits by asking for his meds and protecting Alexis from the paparazzi. When Betty comes to visit, he is aware of her problems and suggest that they go to Central Park and bury them. While there, Daniel ask Betty to deliver a "Eulogy" for everything that symbolizes Henry and as she does, she buries mementos and gifts she saved. At the same time Daniel tells Betty that he has decided to bury his drug habit by throwing his pills into the gravesite and tells Betty that the car accident was his fault and he shouldn't had Alexis take him that night. The two decide to resolve their conflicts and move on with their lives.
As Daniel returns to the hospital, he notices Alexis coming out of her coma. But when Daniel talks to her, Alexis asks Daniel why she called her Alexis, as it appears that Alexis believes that she is still Alex.
At "MODE" Amanda has gained weight after finding out about Fey Sommers being her mother, and when Marc walks in and notices the fat Amanda and opens a drawer full of candy, Marc tells Amanda that they should visit her parents and get the answers. When they arrive, Amanda and Marc discover Amanda's parents coming from their bedroom in their pajamas...along with that of another couple who follow afterward, also in their pajamas (The Tanens are swingers)! As Amanda was about to give up, Marc tell her parents that Amanda knows about Fey being Amanda's birth mother. The Tanens tell her that Fey decided to put Amanda up for adoption because Fey felt that she couldn't raise Amanda as a mother and having a baby would destroy her reputation, plus The Tanens couldn't have children. Having learned the truth, Amanda and Marc decide to look for Amanda's birth father, and as they enter the elevator, they are joined by Bradford. As Marc observes closely, he sees Bradford and Amanda copying each other, leading to speculation that Bradford could be Amanda's father, prompting Marc to suggest that they get DNA evidence. After two failed attempts by Amanda, Marc gets the proof needed by clipping Bradford's ear hairs.
Meanwhile, it appears that Wilhelmina has taken advantage of the Meade family events as she fills in as temporary Editor-In-Chief by throwing away Daniel's approved spread for one featuring Victoria's Secret, with help from new assistant editor Sheila. Later on that day Justin has skipped day camp and shows up at the Meade Building, where he witnesses Wilhelmina having a nervous breakdown over fashion concepts. He would save the day when he suggests that a model remove her belt after Wilhelmina spots Justin, who she calls her little fashion elf. Betty later tells Justin that "MODE" has given him a internship, thanks to Daniel.
Wilhelmina's scheme to manipulate the Meades isn't sitting well with Claire, who along with Yoga, are hiding out in Long Island after having escaped en route to prison. Claire uses a ruse to get to Bradford by calling Wilhelmina to meet at Central Park so she sell "MODE" to her, in which Claire will be dressed as a nun. At Central Park, the plot takes a surprise twist: It is Marc who shows up disguised as Wilhelmina, but he is beaten up Yoga in the nun outfit. At Bradford's office, Claire shows up to warn Bradford, but Wilhelmina surprises her by sitting in his chair, but after she offers her a drink and tells Claire that the police will arrive in three minutes, Claire knocks her out, drinks her scotch and says she'll be gone in one. Hours later Wilhelmina and Marc start nursing their injuries, leading to speculation from Wilhelmina that Claire may be getting help, prompting Wilhelmina to hire a bodyguard.
Finally back at the Suarez home, Hilda is in bed with Santos as she tries to nurse his gunshot wounds. While they talk about their wedding plans even as Santos read her a letter he was going to recite at the wedding, Hilda tried to convince Santos not to leave her side, but Santos tells her that he has to go and that he'll always love her. However, as Betty went up to her room, it looks like she is holding a pillow while starring at a light in the bathroom as Hilda still has not gotten over the fact that Santos has died in the robbery. Betty then holds her sister and tells her that everything will be alright.
Later that evening, a bus stops at Times Square to drop off a passenger who has returned from Arizona...his name was Henry.
