Universal Content Productions (formerly known as Universal Cable Productions) (UCP) is a television production arm of NBCUniversal, and a subsidiary of Universal Television, focused on productions for cable networks. Distribution and sales are handled by corporate sibling NBCUniversal Syndication Studios. It is operated under NBCU's NBCUniversal Content Studios division.
Established in mid-2008, UCP took over production of four series then produced by Universal Media Studios, including Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001–2011), Monk (2002–2009), Psych (2006–2014) and Eureka (2006–2012).
In early 2019, the company changed its name from Universal Cable Productions to Universal Content Productions in a move to signify its expansion to streaming.
