- 1x01 "Dead Meat": Zombified Milton gives a capsule summary of the first episode:
- Milton: I accidentally raised a damn necromancer from the dead. He thought it would be fun to kill us all and raise us all as his slaves. That didn't work of course. Teen spirit and all that.
- The "twelve stories" Jude mentions are the previous episodes. In several scenes some of the headlines can be glimpsed from the papers on Jude's wall and match episodes, e.g. "Sixth Form Slaughter Mimics Slasher Movie" ("Be Movie") and "[Are] There Aliens [in t]he Suburbs?" ("Pineapple Chunks").
