Vida (formerly known as Pour Vida) is a half-hour drama series focusing on two Mexican-American sisters from the Eastside of Los Angeles who couldn't be more different or distanced from each other. Circumstances force them to return to their old neighborhood, where they are confronted by the past and shocking truth about their mother’s identity.

Vida was one of three projects based on Spanish-language formats and stories from Hispanic creators, writers and producers, which Starz announced in January 2016 as part of its "programming strategy of seeking diverse voices" and targeting "underserved audiences," per Starz CEO Chris Albrecht.
