WRDC is a MyNetworkTV affiliate in Raleigh/Durham/Fayetteville, North Carolina (licensed to Durham). The station broadcasts on digital channel 14 displayed to tuners on virtual channel 28 and is owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group and is a sister station to The CW affiliate WLFL channel 22.
WRDC began in 1968 as call letters WRDU-TV affiliated with NBC. In 1978, the station changed its call letters to WPTF-TV. By 1991, the station changed its call letters again to the current WRDC. In 1995, the station became a charter UPN affiliate after NBC programming moved to WNCN channel 17 which originally carried The WB programming and that network moved to WRAZ channel 50 when that station signed on the air. In 2006, when UPN and The WB shut down, WRDC offically joined MyNetworkTV while sister station WLFL joined The CW.
