Plot Overview
Jessica Neighbors and her husband, Alan from Idaho are very involved in the lives of their two children: 11-year-old Kassidy and 9-year-old Kaden. The kids have a rigid routine of gymnastics, soccer, music lessons and chores. Jessica has a star reward chart for the kids to keep track of how well they do. When it comes to safety, Jessica makes sure that Kassidy and Kaden are never left unattended and has them sit in booster seats in the car.
Jessica swaps lives with freelance graphic designer Marlee Brown from Ohio who is busy juggling work and caring for her two sons: 12-year-old Zane and 2-year-old Maverick. Her husband, Steve is a yo-yo champion who performs in a tutu and works long hours at the family's zany shop. Due to Steve's hands-off approach to parenting, he has a distant relationship with stepson Zane.
