Plot Overview
Heidi Kukta from Utah and her family are obsessed with entering raffles and contests, especially her husband, Andy, who stays up late at night to play online contests. They don't have much a social life and prefer to spend time collecting bottle caps from the trash cans in their neighborhood in order to enter prize draws. Heidi's older daughters, 17-year-old Jennie and 12-year-old Miranda spend their time doing chores and catering to the needs of their younger sisters: 3-year-old Aimee and 4-year-old Catherine.
Heidi swaps lives with Joanna Cooper from the Florida Keys. Joanna and her husband, Jim quit their day jobs to relax, have fun and party all night long. Joanna and Jim run their own DJ and wedding video business in order to make a living off their love of partying. They convinced Joanna's parents to move with them so they can baby-sit their two kids: 11-year-old Caya and 3-year-old Andreas. The couple doesn't enforce rules or keep their house tidy.
