Plot Overview
Cecilia Harrison-Velasco from Northern California has aspirations of becoming a clown. She and her family lives in a converted garage in order to save money and her husband, John has put his acting career on hold to help support Cecilia's dream. Her 7-year-old daughter, Maya has no chores or responsibilities.
Cecilia swaps lives with Tanya Marshall (also from Northern California). Tanya and her husband, Ben run their home like a boot camp and expect their four kids: 15-year-old Trevaughn, 14-year-old Brianna, 12-year-old Benjamin and 10-year-old Josiah to do chores around the house. The kids have no time for fun and they are not even allowed past the stop sign at the end of their street.
