Plot Overview
Zev Paiss and his wife, Neshama of Colorado live in an environmentally-correct co-housing development with their two young daughters: 6-year-old Halonah and 5-year-old Zipporah. The family devotes themselves to living in an ecologically-sensitive lifestyle; they choose to ride bicycles as their mode of transportation, share a hybrid car with a neighbor and even have a compost pile. The family sticks to a structured routine (which includes daily yoga sessions and Neshama's afternoon nap). The family also shares their housing community with 26 other people and have communal dinners where everyone eats together.
Zev swaps lives with Kenny Davis (also of Colorado), a motorcycle-loving biker who owns & operates his own motorcycle shop. He has a blended that consists of his two daughters: 13-year-old Samantha and 12-year-old Kaitlyn, his girlfriend, Sandy & Sandy's 17-year-old daughter, Cara. Kenny keeps his personal collection of many vehicles outside of his house much to his neighbors' annoyance. Even though Kenny recently had a heart attack, the family's diet consists of eating junk food and red meat.
