Win, Lose Or Draw was a game show that aired on NBC daytime and evenings in syndication. It is set in a re-creation of Burt Reynolds' living room. Vicki Lawrence hosted the NBC daytime edition and Bert Convy hosted the syndicated evening show. He was replaced in the final season by Robb Weller (Bert would go on to host a new show, The 3rd Degree).
Two teams, each of two celebrities and a civilian, participate. Facing a large sketchpad on an easel, each team is shown a phrase, and object or a name they have to draw out to communicate to teammates in sixty seconds. If a word in the answer is uttered, the drawer may write it down on the pad. A correct guess is worth $200 within the first thirty seconds, and down to $100 for the second thirty seconds. If a team fails to guess the puzzle, the other team scores the money if they answer it.
After two puzzles, each team competes in the Speed Round, with 90 seconds for each to guess as many words as possible. Each correct word is worth $100. The top scorer at the end wins a $1000 bonus.
In the final season, Speed Rounds were now 60 seconds, and each word worth $50. The top scorer vied for $5000 in a bonus round by trying to communicate seven words in 90 seconds.
The show spawned a kids' edition, Jr. Win, Lose Or Draw, for the Disney Channel. Another edition of Win, Lose or Draw for Disney Channel, hosted by Justin Williams, premiered March 3, 2014.
The NBC daytime show played to September 1, 1989.
