Season Two of Winx Club premiered September 10, 2005.

In this season, the Winx Club girls return from their summer vacation. This time, a new fairy, Layla, is introduced to the group. Layla needs help rescuing the pixies, and each of the Winx Club girls gets their own pixie whom they are bonded to. We also meet a new specialist named Helia, who is Flora's love interest. In this season, each of the girls gains a new power, known as their Charmix.

A new villain, Lord Darkar, is introduced this season. He joins up with Icy, Darcy, and Stormy to find the Codex, in order to open the Realm of Realix, where the ultimate power is found.
