Young Samson & Goliath is an animated cartoon that aired on NBC.
A young boy and his dog travel around the world where they meet up with despotic ne'er-do-wells. The boy joins two gold bracelets together, making him and his dog turn into superhuman figures with super strength (the dog transforms into a lion).
The show was originally called Samson & Goliath but was renamed Young Samson & Goliath the following April 1968 to avoid confusion with Art Clokey's stop-motion religious animated series Davey & Goliath. When the show went into syndication, episodes from The Space Kidettes were melded in.
