The Light at the End of the Tunnel is the fourteenth episode of the first season of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters, and the fourteenth episode overall.
One of the island's eliminators, Panik, has taken all of Mai's star chips. It's up to Yugi to win them back, or Mai will be sent home
Kids' WB! fused this episode with the next one and called it "Panik Attack". The reason for this is unknown, though fans speculate that it may have been due to the delay of the premiere after the 9/11 tragedy. The separate episodes were dubbed, but were only seen in other countries and on the DVD release, until 4Kids TV aired this episode in its full format on January 6, 2007.
