The Fall of Monastario is the thirteenth episode of the first season of Zorro.

Plot Overview
Captain Monastario has Diego arrested.Sgt Garcia,and another guard are present when Monastario accuses Diego of being Zorro.Sgt Garcia laughs at this because as he says,in all of California there is no one most unlikely to be Zorro as Don Diego.It is because of Diegos unlikelyness that Monastario accuses him of being Zorro.There are other reasons for Monastarios suspicions that he suspects Diego which will be revealed later in the story.Monastario intends to put Diego on trial,and have him executed for Zorros alledged crimes.Before he does however,another brings news of the coming of the Viceroy.The Viceroys coming can only mean that he is coming to inspect the Pueblo.Monaatario is going to prepare for the Viceroys visit.This isn't the only suprise that Monastario will receive upon the Viceroys visit.This visit will prove to be Monastarios downfall.
