The Paramilitary Cell was a cell set up by Roger Stanton for the purposes of foiling a nuclear bomb plot so they could alter the course of President Palmer's presidency.

Objectives

The first goal of the cell was to allow the nuclear device to enter Los Angeles safely, and track the location of the bomb, which was in the custody of the Said Ali Cell.

Secondary goals were to prevent CTU from discovering the bomb before the paramilitary team could save the day. Roger Stanton fed the COral Anake team the flight plan of Jack Bauer's plane and ordered it shot down.

Execution

The bomb was sucessfully allowed to enter Los Angeles, and it was tracked to Norton Airfield. Seven of the Coral Snake mercenaries - including Johnathan Wallace stayed behind to monitor the terrorists. Others were sent to shoot down a plane containing Jack Bauer, Nina Myers, and an information source.

The plane was shot down with a portable surface-to-air missile, and survivors were executed. Jack Bauer and Nina Myers escaped the scene. Jack killed at least three mercenaries and a CTU helicopter killed the others.

At Norton airfield, Johnathan Wallace, who was working for the Kingsley Cell, killed the other six commandos to prevent them from stopping the terrorists.

When the bomb was detonated in the desert, Wallace decided to enlist Jack Bauer and Kate Warner to help him leave the country in exchange for information. Members of the Kingsley cell ambushed them and mortally wounded Wallace, who gave Jack the information he needed before dying.
