Season Two of 31 Minutos premiered on March 20, 2004. Two special episodes were shown in late 2003, which introduced a new and permanent character desing and the join of Patricio Díaz (Álvaro Díaz's brother, often credited as Díaz Jr.) to the staff, along with his characther Guaripolo. This season got a noticeably higher budget, and changed and improved the visuality of the show, such as an new opening filmed in in 35mm, new scenarios, many new characthers per episode and different title cards. This season start focusing more in the characthers stories thaht in the "news" itself, with less appearances of their habitual segments (most noticeably the Encuestas that was removed from the show since episode 33, and Calcetín con Rombos Man, that is absent between the episode 29 and 34), althought new segments were introduced like La Dimensión Hermosa y Desconocida and Cosas que Buscan Cosas (that only appears in this season), Recurring characters like Tío Horacio, God, Cirilo Pila. and Bongo Stingo were introduced also. 31 Minutos didn't reach the same populary level of the first season.
