Happenings

  • The Mueller device is deactivated with minimal risk. We later learn that the survivors were killed to maintain the cover of a chemical explosion.
  • After the situation has been defused, Irina shoots her sister Elena in the head.

Characters

  • Nadia is injected with the contaminated water and becomes aggressive like the others. She and Sydney fight, but the prophecy appears to have been thwarted when Sloane shoots Nadia. She survives and is placed under medical care where she is in stable condition and is kept her under sedation until an antidote can be found.
  • Sloane is found by the team where he explains that his alliance with Elena was a ruse to stop her plans. Despite this, he is in imprisoned upon his return.
  • Instead of returning Irina to the United States, Jack allows her to escape.
  • Alone with Vaughn, Irina urges him to tell Sydney the truth. When everything has died down, Vaughn begins to divulge. He starts with saying that it has to do with how they met and that his name isn't really Michael Vaughn. Before he can explain, they are suddenly sideswiped by another car.
